Surface is a custom design showroom, showcasing the organic and dramatic beauty of marble, travertine, quartzite, soapstone and granite. All our projects are fabricated in our custom workshop in Bridgeport, and displayed in our Westport showroom.
The Surface showroom features unique, engineered surfaces for residential and commercial settings. Our design inspiration comes from European travels and the artistic use of stone in everyday living environments. Our living environments creatively display high end wallcoverings, lighting, tile, art, and custom cabinetry, which complement our stone surfaces.

Born in Minturno, Italy, Daniel has a deep appreciation for Italian marble and stone. Daniel co-founded The Stone Workshop in Bridgeport, Connecticut 20 years ago and brings his expertise and knowledge of the industry to Surface.
Jo Ann has worked in the home furnishings industry for over 40 years. She brings her versatile perspective and artistic expertise to Surface through mediums including textile, wall coverings, art, stone and engineered surfaces.

We just completed a renovation of our master bathroom. Jo Ann at Surface helped us with the countertop, lighting, paint color and even the arrangement of the tiles on the walls
She was a pleasure to work with and was aways available to meet with us after hours to accomodate our schedules. She was also very responsive to our calls, texts and emails.
